Clearance issues with 01 VW turbo diesel

Hello I need assistance with some information on my diesel swap.

I have a 2001 Volkswagen turbo diesel TDI engine that I'm placing inside my 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I know that there's no mounts that I can buy and I have to custom make them but when I placed the engine and cut out the old engine mounts between the frame it looks to sit pretty low. Is it supposed to sit that low or do I need to place body lifts on it. I know that I'm placing a 3 in lift using the leaf springs. But I just think the engine seems to sit low.

Also the bracketry where the alternator goes seems like it might have clearance issues with the steering box. Has anyone else run into this problem.

Lastly on the passenger side the bottom of the turbo seems like it may hit the frame. Which is also another clearance issue.

Suggestions you have may thank you

When you build the motor mounts just lift the engine higher to address the clearance issues you are having. Mount the alternater on the turbo side of the engine.
You may need a different turbo and manifold.
