RAUSCH CREEK TRIP!!! APRIL 20th-22nd

I'm trying to organize a group trip for the weekend of April 20th-22nd. At Raushe Creek in Joliett, PA. Are you from the Northeast and cant make the long ride to NC for Zuwharrie? Come wheel with us!

CAMPING: I'm planning on getting the main group together at Twin Grove campgrounds. http://www.twingroveparkcampground.com/ thay've got a wide variety of sites at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, they don't have a group site that isn't likely to be flooded in April but they do have a fue sections of individual tent sitesWhen you register for a site there, tell them you're with the Suzuki Group There is a larger group of 6 tent sites next to 4 Cabins that you'll be put into to keep everyone in the same area. RV sites are available right near there as well. The primitive sites w/ water/electric are in a different area but not too far off. I'll probably take one of the Cabins.

WHEELING: Rausch Creek http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/home.php has a little something for everyone. The number of groups we run will be based off the number of trucks and trail leaders we get. IF YOU KNOW THE PARK AND CAN LEAD A GROUP E-MAIL ME ASAP AND LET ME KNOW WHAT LEVELS OF TRAIL YOU CAN RUN/LEAD
The rough shcedule is:
FRIDAY - Arrival day. No set group runs, just an informal Pitch camp and wheeling day. I'll be there early on Friday and hopefully I'll be hitting the trails around lunch with whoever is around.
SATURDAY - Guided group rides. Again, the number of groups and what trails they'll hit will be based on the number of trucks and guides we get.
SUNDAY - Straggler day. Anyone that wants to wheel another day, stick around and we'll see what groups we can put together.

We'll plan on meeting at the Rausche Creek parking lot at 9:00 AM for those staying at other places.

FOOD - Bring your own for now.

Rules and Regulations - I know, I know....I have to do it. Please, read the rules and regulations on these sites. You are responsible for knowing them and following them! If I have to tell anyone what the rules are, it will be as they are escorted out of the campgrounds/park:

http://www.twingroveparkcampground.com/rules.html
http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/rules.php

Please note that drinking isn't allowed at the Camp or at the Park. Wanna get bent, go drink at the bar. Wanna wheel, come hang out with us. Please don't put me in the possition of being a hard-[censored]. I hate enforcing the rules, especially when they are clear, simple and printed out in english for you, but as long as my good name (and the good name of any Suzuki group that comes after us) rides on this being a smooth and by the books, I'll do everything in my power to keep it that way.

E-mail me truckasaurus44@hotmail.comwith the following info if you will be there:

- Name/names and where you're from
- Number of trucks and people coming
- Where you'll be staying
- When will you Arrive and Depart
- If you'd like to guide a group

I've been to Rausch Creek a few times. Love that place, but please look closely at the rules again. Drinking and driving is prohibited, not sitting around the campfire with a cold one. At the park, druken revelry is prohibited as is carrying an open container in a public area. Keep em in your campsite and under control and there won't be any problems. I foresee a bigger problem with people creating alternative routes around obstacles. And keep the Sammi's off the red/black trails. They really are that hard.

you wanna do a small run in april of 08? i am game but what mods does your rig have? tire size, lockers...? just would love to run a small group like 3-6 rigs that can run any trail basicaly. not trying to be picky but i like the crazy shit and my samurai will be ready by spring. When i went to gonzuki i ran black and some black/ red and i had open diffs, 35's that rubbed, stock gears and stock t-case gears and it could do alot but i like doing crazy lines. let me know.

I'd go but i'm not going to take mine back till it's lifted and has some armor on it. Plus sleeping during the days and working weekends just kills it for me.

I'm picking up my tires today, little ones 31x10.50 supposed to have 10 days off at Chistmas might be able to go wheel. Probably won't have my lockers in tho Header is on and exhaust is done! All street legal now too

I think that is same weekend as Beerstock here in WV. It is just about what the name implies. Outlaw off road mud fest, beer involved.

Not with my sammy. Did some while on scouting trips for hunting. Used to go to Romney area hunting. How far east is that from you? Ya ever wheel up this way? You should come to Gon Zukin this summer.

Whats up with that avatar? I heard "homebrew" flows like springs down there

Romney is about an hour from me er 2 hours driving the Zuki I live about 2 miles north of Route 50. Would like to make Gon Zukin. I work on the road so I don't have much play time.
Have plenty of "heavy" water. Got nearly a gallon at home right now, a little goes a loooooonnnnnggggg way
