Great pics, I always like seeing pics from Penrose. And always good to see Samis there.
I can't afford to take mine there. So, what was going on when the birf let loose? Certainly MSuits wasn't the only photographer....

sad I missed it, but with todays crappy weather I'm glad I stayed home to work on mine so I at least got one day in this weekend.

PI honestly can't explain why it broke really. I was trying to climb the hardest line I could in a spot. But I had done the same line a few times with my cromo Zuk axles and never had a problem. The only thing different was the tire was all the way flat on the side that broke but still should have been fine. It was brand new and this was its first wheeling trip on it.

That trail looks awesome, I would love to try it going in the opposite direction.

going back up was definitely harder. and thats when Msuits brike his birf. the left front tire had gone flat, and he stuffed it in an over-vert rock face, and POP! the next three obstacles were a hell of a time.
sorry for the delay on my pics and vids, i havent been home to my computer yet, and the girly doesnt want me loading hers up. will try to have them in tomorrow. had a great time, and plan on going back again later in the summer or early fall. if i get power steering, ill lock the front, and we can run indy as well!

I'm going to have to pay closer attention!!! I would have been there if I had read that
a trip was in the offing. Haven't done the trail in a few years - looks like it has gotten a whole lot harder. I don't even consider doing Patriot anymore with just 32s. |
