Photo how-to

A member recently asked for instructions how to do this. I thought it would be helpful for others.

First your pics have to be stored/hosted on an web site. (if our gallery is working you can store pics on there) If you just want 1 or 2 pics online e-mail them to me and I can host them for you, example: this is a link to a pic stored on my web page.

inorder to display this pic on the forum you need to use the Img tags

If you highlight the link above and them press the Img button above it will change the text to rear this:

whenever I try and put the img labels in front of and behind a picture on my putfile site, it just shows up with a link to it, not the actual image.

ok, you are using the link on the browser, that is a no no! Right click the picture, go to properties, right click the URL and copy the link, then paste the link on that button, it will work.

How come sometimes I get a bad link thing from putfile, and sometimes it shows the pictures.

Don't know, but I've seen it myself. When the pic doesn't post, I've noticed the link is abbreviated. I don't know why it does that and sometimes it doesn't.

I had no idea how easy it is to post pics... I have been doing it the hard way for days now. I used to go to photobucket, copy the URL, go back to zukikrawlers, Type [IMG][/IMG], then paste the URL into the middle between the [IMG][/IMG] and hit Preview to see if it worked. Not going to do it that way anymore.

How I did the pic below is I went to photobucket, copied the URL (didn't even make it fullsize), came back to zukikrawlers and clicked on "insert image" button which brought up a blinking "Script Prompt" box and pasted the URL into the blinking Script prompt box and hit enter. The picture just materialized right before my eyes...Didn't even have to hit the Preview button.

How I did the pic below is even easier. I went to my photobucket, just left clicked on the "IMG code" line, came back to zukikrawlers, right clicked right here where I am typing, hit paste (it showed a link with tags around it), then preview button and boom, the pic you see below showed up.

Now you have the image tags right but you need to post the pic on the net and link to posting. The link will look something like:
