Thanks again guys. I had a blast. I can't stop thinking about all the awesome stuff I can do to the samurai. Almost makes me want to dive right in. But I really need to finish the race car. I am so close with it. We will see how long I can stand it before I throw my first mod at it.

I got the CB repaired and got a real antenna setup for it. While I could not get an answer from anyone near by, it is making noises and doing stuff now rather than just sit there silent.

The wheels are turning.

That plane crash site is a trip! If that was in AZ all the parts would be gone and on display in someones yard. People here just take stuff from all over. Mining equipment, indian artifacts, minerals, cactus and who knows what else. Of course there's laws protecting stuff like that but not enough people to enforce it. Not that it should have to be enforced.

That's why I love pictures!

Nick,
I hear ya! Years ago, when we had a bunch of Zuks in the club, somebody
might call after work and we'd hit the Gulches or Emerald Valley for a few hours. Miss those days, but kids grow up and get into soccer, music, whatever
and those things come first as well they should.

I wish we could use that Colo Zuks link better too. http://www.zukikrawlers.com/group.php?groupid=6
For some reason it doesn't get any hits or replies very much and requests to join the group go unanswered too.

I went through another intermediate shaft U-Joint. Not sure why I have so much trouble with that shaft. I think I am on the 3rd complete sets of joints on that shaft now.

Colorado Group

Ken,
Fixed that, joined up - it would be nice to communicate among those close by.

I used to have problems with the intermediate also. I started carrying
a couple around and haven't had a u-joint fail on it since. Go figure!

Got a new joint in another shaft and put it in. Now the tranny seal is leaking. My old shaft had a groove wore into it where the seal made contact but it didn't leak. I thought I would put this other shaft in being the seal surface looked very good. Go Figure. LOL

I'm in the middle of replacing my LF wheel bearings. It was making noise and grabbing. The bearings fell out as soon as I opened it up. Dang things were only 2 years old. It's possible I overtightened em last time I was in there. I did get some water out so maybe it was that mud hole hole I was in a couple months back. Who knows, I'll pay a little more attention when I assemble it this go round. Could be a combination of things.

You're right about Arizona, but instead of being in somebody's yard, it would be at the scrap metal place in a heart beat! Know what I mean? Too bad it doesn't snow here any more!
