When is a Zuk not a Zuk?

Ok, so I know this has been brought up, not sure on this forum but certainly Pirate. But I figured this should stir up some good talk.

My buddy who is a Jeep guy and even another friend who owns a Zuk do not consider my Zuk to be a Zuk anymore. Allthough each time I tell them it started out as a zuk, and now it has just "grown".

So.. When is a Zuk not a Zuk?

Thats an age old question. To me if it started as a Zuki and all you have left of it is a title and a hood, it's still a Zuki. And your going to get a few opinons on this.

My friend claims his sand rail is a vw bug and it only has an engine and title from one. I say if the title says zuk it is a zuk. Maybe not a pure bred but how many jeeps are driving around on 1 tons with a sbc/ tranny/ dana 300 combo?

This is in the mind of the owner. One of the reasons why I try and stick with Suzuki engines, transmissions, etc. Toyota axles are AISIN just like zuk axles (Sister Companies) so no argument from me, expecially if the title says ZUK.

I have part of a zuk frame, and a hacked up zuk hood, body and all my peddals and steering colum is zuk...not a doubt in my mind its a zuk!!

as long as it kinda looks like a zuk(a zuk hood and most of the body)its a zuk.How many times you see some bad ass buggy thing coming up the trail and you look at the hood for those vents on the side "right on!! its a sammy buggy thing" right? that makes it a sammy

okay so here is my theary its a zuk no mater what

all i got is my old zuk bumper yep still got er anyway when i put the bumper in my ford exsplorer that ford aint no ford no more its a zuki

when the bumper comes out of the back and into the shed till its next ride its back to a measly old ford again ill hear the bumper calling and so i go get er and transform the ford back into a zuk and we go rollin down the road like old times or till i run outta gas so what im tryin to say is a zuk will always be a zuk and another ride can transform into a zuk if you make it happen
yall might think im crazy but hey makes for good convo right

Nothing of the kind, just offering the emblem so you don't have to pack that bumper every where you go. And an airbrushed emblem is not the same as a real one.

Back to your regularly programmed episode.

HAHA your the only one so far that has went this way. I was actually figuring a good amount more of ppl would have said this as well (probably all those little stockers)

But I agree with the rest of you, I told them it still has the heart of a zuki therefore it is a zuki. I still have most all the frame of a zuk, hood, firewall, some of floor and most of all the Tcase! All the rest of it is another breed But I know when I get pulled over...yes when, not if, that I will say "but officer It says its a suzuki and then walk over to the side of the frame (right behind my 37" tall tire) and say here is the VIN sir
