local riverside wheeling area

for the so cal local guys in the riverside area there is some fun wheeling out in the area of gavalin hills between the 74 through perris and cajalco/ramona expressway. from what i know its blm land. its fun to take some guns and do some shooting then hit the trails in the area. fun rutted/rocky trails with some off camber and steep hills. has some water crossing now after the rains and you can pretty much make your own trails and pick your difficulty there. just another fun local area so you dont have to go far. i see alot of people with other 4x4s, quads and dirt bikes out there.

it is by the big ol satellite dishes! i go north on 215 to the 74 through perris west, then make a right on ellis rd. take ellis till you see a little road on your left called christmas tree ln., take that and stay on it till you pass the big nursery on your right and you will start seeing dirt trails around the big satellite dishes. old mines back there too. any of you guys shoot shotguns and clays? ive been going out there alot lately, ill post next time im going or if anyone else wants to check it out let me know!

I was up at Lytle Creek a week or so ago (which is all closed) talked to a Forestry guy who told me about that place. Said it was BLM land and you could shoot out there. I was looking for a place to shoot clays. Thanks for the update, keep me posted when you go shooting maybe I can make it.
