just moved

I just moved to Glenwood Springs from Nebraska. Any suggestions on a must see/do trail in this area. I took my Dodge Nitro up a few easy ones, but it's time to take my Sammi out to play. Also the girlfriend and I would love to meet some new people.

Transfer Trail just north of GS is pretty nice. Been a few years since I've been on it
so don't know about difficulty, etc.

This section is the inactive part. Plus there is not too many of us out your way! I don't have a Zuk anymore, but I'm currently able with typical 4-6 ratings on TD. Hope to make it to Moab this coming spring as well.

Ya I think that most of us Colorado Zuks are on the front range. But you could always look at setting up a trail run halfway or something.

It would be great to set up a trail run sometime. I don't really know where to yet, but if anyone is interested hit me up. My girl just picked herself up a pretty cool toy, too (Wrangler on 37's) so we're ready to go.

I am thinking about doing Chinaman in Buena Vista this weekend or maybe Left Hand Canyon in Boulder if anyone is interested.

When is your ankle going to be all healed up? I am always willing to let people ride with me if they want to.

It would be great to get a good group of zuks together. My buddies rig is down and out right now with a bunch of issues so it may not come together like I want it to.

I'm not familiar with Chinaman's Gulch, do I need a locker?

Finally got the MRI tonight so hopefully soon I'll have a plan from the doc as to what we are going to do.

Jay I've run Chinaman's stock several times, it's definitely not easy but doable. I think the first hill will be the biggest challenge and then from there it's just picking the right lines for your rig.

Glad to hear you got the MRI! Hope for a quick fix and healing process for you. And I'll have to see what I'm up to this weekend, might be down to go.

Hey Dean,

You are way too close not to come to the Rangely Offroad Park! It's almost 600 acres and surrounded by endless BLM land. It has everything from "No big deal" to "I don't think so". Let me know if you want to come up and we can work something out.
