Holy Cross. Aug 19, 20, 21

So here it is again. Plan to come up Friday, set up camp, eat drink and be merry! We can swap lies and talk shit at the fire! Run the trail Saturday morning, and then its up to you. I will be staying Saturday night, returning Sunday morn/afternoon.

I plan to leave Friday morning, around 10, in hopes to secure the good spot. I'd like a good showing to, it will be a fun time!

Chime in with comments, questions, concerns!

All are welcome.

I've got it on the calendar.

I like the idea of hitting the trail early Saturday. That way you beat the traffic jam at the creek.

Wish I could make it, not this time.

Here is an alternate route that I have taken for your consideration.

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Ar...=12&via=1&z=12

It takes 6 minutes longer but saves 17 miles. And actually, if your driving a slow mover (sami) it probably is not really any longer time wise.

It's a nice scenic drive connecting I-70 to 24 via Red Cliff. 4WD not required.

Have fun, look fwd to the pics and reports.

We usually camp in a meadow on the left side of the road about 6 miles in or about
1/2 mile before Gold park Campground ( I think that is the name) Anyway there is plenty of room and if we're there early enough, the sites along the river are pretty nice.
