New Rock Chick

I finally got my 6 year old daughter convinced to go with me in the Sami. I have been working on her for over a year now and she loved it. We both had a great time and I hope it will be something she will remember the rest of her life. Here are some pics.

It's always a good time when the kids ride along. Looks like she had a good time.

Very much so!!! It took a little bit of bribery, but soon into it she was all smiles. I can't wait to plan our next trip.

That's awesome, nice truck, trail rig, camper, family... am I missing anything else

I know I will always remember wheeling with my dad when I was a little guy. No 5 year old can forget an early Bronco with 35" Swampers and 302 V8. I was hooked for life after that. Pretty soon your daughter will be bugging you for a trail rig!

You're rig looks awesome! I like how you can still seal everything up

Thanks, I still havn't convinced the wife to go wheeling with me, so I started building the Toy Hauler last fall to bring some of the comforts of home to camping and now my daughter loves camping and I have convinced the wife to go "camping" and am still working on the wheelin' part. I know it was an experience my daughter won't forget.

A few pics of my Toy Hauler.

Fold Down bed/couch fully tucked away. Plenty of room to get the Sami in.

Bed.

Couch.

The bunk beds up front are really comfortable and make great use of the space in the v-nose.

Glad she had fun you will have to find out if she wants to go again then you need to start building her one or at least saving for one. Better get plans for a 3rd seat.

Thanks, the trailer is an H&H made in Clarinda, Ia. I did the dreaming and had the H&H custom shop do the fabricating to my specs. I did insulate the whole trailer myself, does that count?

I am already thinking of plans for the third seat, it won't be long.

Ask anyone who knows me...I would rather sit than ride too....Me and the da wifie will get along just fine.....I have been a few times but it scares me to know that we might fall so I just sit at camp and read and take pics when Shorty needs or wants me too....We have a 14 yo daughter and a 9 yo son and they both love going.....Paige lives a little more dangerous than J.R. but he is getting better at it....He likes it better when he is control....Hopefully Da wifie will come wheeling with you but atlerast you got her there ....thats a start...

That's great that your daughter can wheel with you! Mine is 3 1/2, and I have to tell you she loves it! Sometimes she can get a little scared but she's all smiles!

For SURE! I love the trailer the way it has turned out. Simple, yet multipurpose but, I am already wishing I had a bathroom in it. I guess I will have to see how business is this year, maybe next year.
